What is APDSF AGM?
Asia Pacific Down Syndrome Federation (APDSF) is a federation for representative organizations in Asia Pacific countries to work together for the betterment of persons with Down Syndrome.
Every year, the APDSF Annual General Meeting (AGM) brings together representatives, self-advocates, families, professionals, and member organizations from across the Asia-Pacific region. The AGM is a platform for self-advocate. It provides a valuable opportunity to share experiences, exchange knowledge, and learn from successful initiatives implemented in different countries.
Through country reports and collaborative sessions, participants review the Federation’s progress, discuss future priorities, and explore ways to strengthen support for people with Down syndrome.
The AGM also fosters regional partnerships and encourages cooperation among member countries, helping to advance inclusion, advocacy, healthcare, education, and community participation throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Agenda
This year's APDSF AGM will bring together delegates from across the Asia-Pacific region for a meaningful exchange of ideas, experiences, and friendship.
On December 1, participants will be welcomed by a casual ice-breaking drink after a long flight.
Start from December 2, alongside the Annual General Meeting, we can learn about the latest developments in Down syndrome care and research from our guest speakers from Japan, and join a Taiwan Experience Forum featuring frontline professionals who will share local practices and insights.
Self-advocacy also plays a huge part of the 2026 APDSF AGM. On both December 2 &3, we encourage self-advocates to speak their mind and let us know what is truly relevant.
The APDSF AGM is not confined to meeting rooms in a city-center hotel. On December 3, let us visit the Xingyan Care Home in Taipei, and learn how technologies are incorporated into residential care. Finally, the day will continue as we explore the food and culture of Taipei.
The detailed agenda is currently being finalized and will be released closer to the event date. We look forward to welcoming you to Taiwan for an inspiring and memorable APDSF AGM.
