These services include daily life training and care, focusing on physical fitness and rehabilitation activities, complemented by recreational and leisure courses. Emotional support and assistance are also provided based on individual needs.
Xingyan Campus stands as the nation’s first accommodation care facility for individuals with disabilities integrated with artificial intelligence (AI) technology. This includes AI-enabled smart mattresses that monitor sleep conditions, prevent pressure ulcers, protect the spine, and relax muscles. Sensors detect abnormalities such as irregular breathing, bed exits, falls, or prolonged immobility, issuing real-time alerts to caregivers for immediate assistance. Customized support encompasses life care and training, health services, and emotional support. At Xingyan Campus, many pieces of furniture double as assistive devices, designed ergonomically to enhance residents’ opportunities for rehabilitation and practice.
Service Recipients: Applicants must meet the following criteria:
With household registration in Taipei City, and residing in Taipei City for at least six months.
Aged 18 years or older.
Possess a disability certification indicating moderate, severe, or profound disability. Disability must fall under Category 1 of the new system and include codes 06 or 11 from the old system in the ICD diagnosis field.
Requires 24-hour life care or ability enhancement services as determined by a disability needs assessment recommending accommodation care services.
Not using medical tubes (e.g., nasogastric tubes, tracheostomy tubes, or urinary catheters).
