The Down Syndrome Foundation R.O.C. operates infant and toddler childcare services with the goal of creating a “second home” for children. The Foundation also aims to help parents better understand Down syndrome through its supportive childcare services, fostering a nurturing environment of love, respect, and joy.
The core of our infant and toddler care service are normal teaching, respecting children, and individualized development. The curriculum is based on each child’s unique interests and centers on their life experiences. It emphasizes local resources to foster a connection with nature and an early awareness of environmental protection.
We hope to plant the seeds of respect and understanding for diverse cultures and individual differences from an early stage.
That is why we adopt thematic teaching and integrate educational and care activities into our preschool curriculum, replacing the traditional single-subject teaching method.
