Public Childcare Centers/At-Home Care

The Down Syndrome Foundation R.O.C. operates infant and toddler childcare services with the goal of creating a “second home” for children. Within an atmosphere of respect, acceptance, inclusion, enthusiasm, and love, the program provides guidance tailored to each child’s individual needs. It fulfills their basic physical requirements while emphasizing mental health development, character building, curiosity stimulation, observational skills, and patience cultivation. This approach promotes the healthy and holistic development of each child’s personality. The Foundation also aims to help parents better understand Down syndrome through its supportive childcare services, fostering a nurturing environment of love, respect, and joy.

The program offers a safe and reassuring space for children as their "second home," adhering to principles of accessibility, affordability, and sustainable operation. With a teacher-to-child ratio of 1:5, the program creates a warm, comfortable activity environment. It incorporates seasonal and festive decorations to provide a caring and cheerful atmosphere, carefully monitoring the physical and emotional well-being of each child. Additionally, it offers parents practical knowledge on effective parenting techniques and helps address childcare concerns.
